  A field of 24 Jersey Only Locals started off a day of solid surf with a three man first round, with one getting bounced, followed by a day of man on man competition in chest to head high conditions for the winner take all event.  There were a lot of familiar faces advancing and a couple of huge upsets.  15 year old Zach Humphries took out former winner Dean Randazzo and Jamie Moran, with back to back killer waves in his heat vs. Frank Walsh, stopped the 2004 champ of a repeat win. ... more to come.
