Quicksilver Shop Challenge, Casino Pier 4/4/06 Photos by Tom Spader

WRV Va. took the Mid-Atlantic Quicksilver Shop Challenge and won a trip to the finals in California.  Brave New World took second. The contest was held on the south side of the Casino Pier in Seaside Hts, in strong offshore winds.  The changing tide brought 3+ hours of clean shoulder high waves, but saw  dropping conditions for the final.  Lavallette's Sam Hammer riding for BNW scored the highest wave with a 9.5 in the final heat. full QS Contest info hit it here
